ZERO TOLERANCE -- THE NEXT STEP
The Waterbury, Conn., Board of Education has announced plans to crack down on student absences. Only proof of a "serious chronic illness" would suffice to excuse a child from school under its new plan. "We now are looking for school to be the priority," said Kennedy High School assistant principal Michael Yamin, who served on a committee to draft the new regulations. "I think we need a policy with some teeth in it," said Walsh School Principal Erik Brown. Try this on for size: even a letter from a doctor would not be enough to excuse an absence, the new policy says, and appeals by parents for any absence ruled "unexcused" would be limited to one each for elementary, middle and high school. A fine of $25 per absence would be enforced by sending police officers along on home visits by attendance monitors. (Waterbury Republican-American) ...One guess as to whether this policy applies to teachers, school administrators, and School Board members.

I guess this would be one of those "big picture" things. I mean, do we really know the circumstances surrounding the school board's decision for this policy? Were there unexplained absences that were affecting the student's performance in school? Were there unusual amounts of absences? Were the parents enablers for the children to miss school for unimportant reasons, such as weekend trips or vacations? Sure trips and vacations are sometimes important, but we talk about how stupid our kids are these days and I just have to wonder...are we really placing a high value on their education? Or are we expecting to allow them to be slackers and still pass with excellent grades? Just another handout for people unwilling to work hard for what they get, I guess. Don't you think that if we just let kids get away with skipping class and being lazy, that's what the world will be like eventually? I guess I just don't really see the problem. It's something specific to this school district, probably because they are having problems with absences. Each individual organization needs to deal with their issues in their own way, otherwise we will have a national law about it or something. If this fixes their problem, then ok.
Another thing to think about is...what do they consider 'chronic illness'? flu? chicken pox? I'm sure they don't just mean life threatening things. I'm sure they are fair and understanding. I mean if a kid is throwing up, they sure don't want that kid in school. I think it's probably the result of many kids abusing their policy to begin with.
As for whether or not this applies to teachers, administrators and school board members...I have no idea. Do you? Did you check? If they are not abusing the policy, then it shouldn't apply to them. Sadly many pay for just a few people's abuse of the system. It's that way for most things.
New world order? Hardly.
Tough stance to make kids realize how important education is? Probably.

the longer the kids are away from the harmful effect of parents the better for the school districts. here in arkansas each school gets around $5,400 per child. so why not force kids into compulsary attendance. support the cops arresting the bad parents that want quality time with their children. hell i support the state mandate to force the state to sieze all children at birth and get them hooked on drugs to stop any mental illness that the child has.yes let's go back to the spartan way of education. okay, hopefully you see the sarcasim.

I think Zeph has a right to be on whatever show he wants to be on. It doesn't make him less of a patriot because he's on Revere Radio. Nor does it diminish RBN because he was on Revere Radio. The same can be said for other people who have been on that station.
I don't see the grand conspiracy as Lisa would have it pictured. I have been a listener of WingTV before Frank ever brought them up. As a matter of fact, I purchased books from their site before they were ever on his show. Therefore, I have a history there that is prior to all of this recent finger pointing business. My past with WingTV is not limited to what I have heard from them on Franklyspeaking. I think that's why it makes me so mad that they are beating a dead horse here. If there is proof of something.... I don't see it.
Sonny Crack is filthy. The best I can tell, ALL of his shows are that way. I don't think he just got disgusting to spoof Lisa Guliani. His spoof is in keeping with the rest of his disgusting shows. I think he's stupid and don't see that he has anything to offer.... but other people probably think he's all that and a bag of chips. The guy thinks Lisa crapped on other hosts and he decided to give her a taste of her own medicine. He just did it Sonny Crack style (which is very lacking) and spoofed her back. She did an Alex Jones spoof if everybody can recall.
My point.
Look at all the information. Lisa and Victory spoof = Lisa and Victory get spoofed.
Hosts that they don't like go on Revere Radio = Hosts they do like go on Revere Radio.
This information alone doesn't prove that some Patriots are CIA disinformation agents. I don't see it. Am I missing some key information here? I'm open to having my mind changed on this one.
One more thing .
Warrman - I think it's tiresome that you always deflect questions by offering up the standard answer of "call and ask them."
When was the last time you called the president, vice president, CIA, FBI, DOD, local officials, other radio hosts? I bet you don't think twice about discussing them though. But let me guess - they aren't your friends. Right?

What do you want to know? What I think about the Lisa and Sonny Crack shit. I could care less, sticks and stones. Lisa did a video saying that Jeff Rence was a gay cross dresser to the music Dude Looks Like a Lady. That was wrong and what Sonny Crack is doing to her is wrong. What it's ok for her to call Rence a fag but it's not ok for Sonny to call her a whore.
Lisa has a lot of good info but so does Alex and there is nothing wrong with Alex making money, this is America is it not?
I don't trust eather of them, because I have no clue what is in their hearts. Will Alex sell everyone out when the time comes? Only God knows that.
Do I think it's wrong that Zeph was on Revere Radio? NO! Zeph, Alex, Jack, Frank and every other host out there should be able to go on any show they like. Just because you do on someones show does not mean that you agree with everything they say or do.
I'm Sorry it is so tiresome for you but I am a no body, just some guy who put up a website, so why does anyone give a shit what I think anyway. So when people start asking me questions about other people I tell them to ask that person.

On a more serious note. I watched the Larry King - George Bush interview. Larry King mentioned the passing of Georgey's friend Ken Lay. George responded about him and crap like that.
Question: I remember (or think i do) that George denied knowing Ken Lay at first. Can anybody else verify this? I'm having trouble finding an article or a clip to support my claim. I find other sites that make this claim also but no substantial proof. Am I dreaming?
